We were in Kiborgora five days. We spent Christmas with Carol and Frank.
Kiborgora is one place, of many in Africa, that Carol and Frank Ogden do mission work. Carol is an evangelist and Frank is a surgeon. There is a hospital in Kibogora where Frank does surgery. Near the hospital is a mission compound where Carol and Frank (and other missionaries) live that work in the hospital. The most important thing about Kibogora is the people who live there.
I was especially taken with the children. Chuck and I went outside of the mission compound and walked around the countryside. We had children who just followed us and accompanied us all the while we were walking. Chuck, especially, was a novelty because besides having white skin, he has a white beard. The kids who were not brave enough to come up to us and stare, would hide in the distance and stare. The next few pictures are some I took of them.
